The Tonel 78 Barrel Select is a 50/50 Malbec and Bonarda blend from Luján de Cuyo and Medrano, respectively. Juicy and ripe, the nose has character and a certain rusticity. The palate is lush, round, juicy, and full, showing good balance and acidity. It's quite approachable now, but it also has stuffing to age.
